This morning was a slow start, a very slow start. I just laid
in bed thinking what is the point of getting up. I am not sure if it's mood,
anxiety, or just my back, but it took a lot to haul my ass out of that bed.
Once I was up it didn't get any better. I had my toast and tea, boring... Then
I sat there for as long as I could suffer through the back pain, then ended up
lying on the couch - exciting... I got so bored that I decided to go have a
shower - oh my life is exciting... J Then later my son thankfully made me go do some
errands - nothing exciting but at least they are done and we got out of the
house for a bit. The main adventure was heading to Wal-Mart - ugh. But we
survived it... Just so many people tend to freak me out a bit, and I hate
waiting in line... J
So seriously that was my day - I had big hopes of doing some
writing, but I didn't...again... Tomorrow we have nothing planned, so maybe I
can feel safe with just sitting down and penning some words. I hope. I just
seem to be passing time, and having time pass me by.
A reader of my blog made a recommendation that I use a post to talk about goals, and I think that is a great idea. So tomorrows post will be a first glimpse at some goal setting, I will also take his advice and keep them small - doable... Sorry I was just interrupted by fireworks. They are just up the hill from me, but there is a stupid tree blocking my view. It is part of the Calgary Stampede's Light up the City. It is synchronized to music on the radio. It partially looks cool. Perhaps tomorrow we will head up to the Petro gas station and watch from there... Holy shit it is LOUD, it sounds like a big show... If I go up the hill to watch the fireworks tomorrow night maybe don't expect a thoughtful blog post... J
